Meet our Hebrew School Staff!

KAREN SCHWEITZER, DIRECTOR
Karen Schweitzer, a native of Santiago, Chile, is a highly skilled special education teacher. In additional to playing in integral role in Hebrew Schools in both Chile and America, Karen has worked as Assistant Director for a renowned Jewish Special Education Program in Detroit.

Karen relocated to Denver just over two years ago, where she currently resides with her husband, Mordechai, and their three children: Yael, 8; Daniel, 5; and Devorah, 2.

We are participating in MazelTot, a Rose Community Foundation grant initiative to connect young families to Jewish life and to each other. Twenty-nine Denver/Boulder Jewish agencies and synagogues are receiving grants to offer discounts on programs for expectant parents and families with children under age five. At mazeltot.org families can register to receive discounts on this and many other Jewish programs.
